Hey,
No, the hostel is not Very strict,but is strict enough to handle students. If proper Decoram is going to stay maintained, I don't think any problems are going to arise. They are strict but not very strict.

Well, you really have a good curriculum background but still, you have to score well in CAT exam at least above 98 percentile to be on a safe side for IIM-A.
