Any institute which is offering B.Tech. in correspondence or through distance learning is a fraud institute as AICTE which is the approval body for all technical courses like B.Tech./B.E., B.Pharm, B.Arch and MCA; does not approve such courses. No private or government organisation accepts degrees for job which are not from AICTE approved institution.

Engineering degrees are approved by AICTE (All India Committee for Technical Education) and they do not approve distance mode B.E. /B.Tech. degrees. After diploma you should seek admission in private or government engineering college through lateral entry scheme directly into second year. But it will be a regular degree course.
