Maths is not rocket science. Maths questions in CAT are of higher secondary school certificate level. You can learn Maths by self preparations and/ or external support. If you take out fear of Maths out of you and draft a plan to overcome your weaknesses in Maths then you will definitely able to crack CAT.

First of all, UPSC is not an exam it is a government body which conducts various exams. If you are asking for Civil services exam under which IAS IPS and IFS falls then I suggest you to read NCERT books from class 6th to 12th of Economics, Civics, History, Geography and Science because these are the basic pillars of the examination point. After completing them you can use online contents like Mrunal Patel Sir, Study IQ and so on. But for now you must read all ncert.

All of three courses are have their own scope in future and these are well to settle better position in society. So you should know the subjects in which you have more interest and passion to work hard.
If you are interested in maths, phy., chem., experiments, computer languages, electornics, then go for engineering.
If you have interests in subjects like biology, passion on nature things, zoology, vice versa then go for medical side.
If you want to be a civil servant by completing any Bachelor's degree, you can attempt UPSC exams.

If the program you are applying to requires these tests then certainly you must prepare. Considering Harvard and Oxford, remember they will evaluate your overall profile and you must be an allrounder, mere taking these tests alone won't help. Hi Devansh, German universities have winter and summer intakes, there is no fall intake there. The summer intake begins in January while winter intake starts in July. You can check for the winter intake, usually, deadlines are there until Feb or March. Visit the DAAD and university ASSIST websites for details.
