The Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration (management). The MBA degree provide skills and knowledge to students to apply scientific approaches to management. The core courses in an MBA program cover various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and operations in a manner most relevant to management analysis and strategy. Most programs also include elective courses.
Eligibility criteria for seeking admission in majority of BSchools for MBA/ PGDM is that candidate must be a graduate with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a University recognized by Association of Indian Universities / AICTE/ UGC etc. Candidates appearing final year of graduation I are also eligible to apply for MBA/ PGDM programs provided they complete all formalities of the examinations before June July in year in which candidate is planning to take admission. . Also the candidates must have taken either one of the management entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, SNAP, IIFT CMAT, ATMA etc . Based on these MBA entrance examination score candidates are called for GDPI.
