Eligibility
A composite score of 600 or above (except for MBA with PGDM option) in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September 2012 or December 2012 OR 75 percentile or above in the Common Admission Test 2012 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
50% or above marks in aggregate in the Undergraduate Examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters/Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far)
Minimum Score specified for MAT/CAT is only an eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process

While selecting the best institute, you need to keep in mind the chief point that is to check the recognition whether the institute is AICTE / UGC approved or not.
Other than this, you also need to check year of establishment, course details, faculty, infrastructure, alumni/student feedback, fees, placements etc.
Be careful while selecting an institute as merely getting a degree is not enough for this competitive world.

Getting a job is the responsibility of the candidate. You may explore certain things about yourself such as :
-Communication skills
-Assessment of your strengths
-Good domain knowledge
-Knowledge of the position you are applying for
-Knowledge about the company you have applied job in
Such pointers will help you to prepare well for any interview.

Regarding scope and salary, it depends on you. If you have interest in the field then you may get promoted and enjoy the benefits of getting promoted with increased salary.

BA English is a fairly flexible course and various diverse careers are available such as-
1. Management careers - Marketing, Human Resources etc
2. Hospitality, Event Management, Public Relations, Corporate Communications
3. Media careers like Advertising, Journalism and Film Making
4. Academic careers like Teaching and Research and particularly Training. English Language Training is a big and growing sector in India with jobs freelance and full-time options as an English language trainer or a voice and accent trainer.
5. You could also do an MA or a B.Ed, or MBA or take up some of the Professional courses.
6. You have options of doing an MBA if management and business is your interest or you could do an M.A in English if English is your interest.
7. Studying a foreign language full time can be an excellent career option. Getting an advanced degree (Master's / PhD ) in studying foreign languages can have an exciting value proposition.

GRE scores are accepted by universities in US, Canada, Germany and many more countries.
GMAT is a test which need to be taken by students who wish to pursue MBA from universities abroad.
IELTS and TOEFL are the test which need to be taken by all the international students whose first or native language is not English.So the student can take either TOEFL or IELTS.
