PGDM is a diploma awarded by autonomous institutions , whereas mbais a degree program which is offered by an University or a college affiliated to a UGC recognized university in India. Both are same.

CMAT is for MBA in all states. However, as for M.C.A, only Gujarat state accepts the score.
The admission to the various MCA colleges in Maharashtra will be on the basis of the aggregate marks in the under graduate program and the score in the entrance exam Maharashtra Master of Computer Application Common Entrance Test (MAH-MCA-CET).
