You can join Indian navy after completion of marine engineering by writing the CDS exam. CDS (Combined Defense Service) exam is conducted under the Civil Service.
The minimum qualification required is B.Sc. of a recognized University or equivalent with Physics and/or Mathematics as subjects or Bachelor of Engineering. The exam takes place twice a year and the age limit is between 19-23 years.
CDS exam would include sections like English, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, Mensuration, Geometry, and Statistics.

I am not sure how good you are with Mathematics and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games).
