Commercial pilot license is the required qualification to start a career as pilot in passenger and cargo flights. You should complete class 12th with minimum 50% in PCM for admission. It will take one year to complete the course.
The course is focused on both theory and practical. Theory consists of airline and aviation basics, aviation rules, navigation system, structure and troubleshooting of various air crafts, etc. There will be minimum 1000 hours practical fly training in various air crafts.

No, you can't take improvement exam of 2 subjects if you have applied for JEE Mains 2017 because JEE Mains need only one result if you take the exam of 2 subjects then you have to show both the results which is not favoured by JEE Mains.

Hello Mangesh,
You have to complete your CPL, then you will be allowed to join IAF.
Possessing a CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence) is an added advantage. But, in order to join IAF, even CPL holders have to go through tough selection procedure that consists of written test, SSB (Services Selection Board) interview, medical examination, etc.
A candidate must have at least a graduation degree from a recognized university (3 year or 4 year graduation course). He/she must have undergone class 12th from science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics as the main subjects. (This is also mandatory for CPL training).

I would suggest you to appear for IIT JEE and AIEEE. These two entrance examinations provide admissions to IITs/ NITs and other government colleges, which are cost-effective.
I would also suggest you to appear for individual state examinations (OJEE in Odisha, EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, COMEDK in Karnataka, etc.). These exams also guarantee you good colleges and serve as a backup in case things don't end up the way you've planned for IIT/ AIEEE.
