If you have completed your B.Tech in electrical/ electronic domain, then you can pursue M.Sc. or M.Tech in electrical domain. With M.Tech in electrical, you can opt for jobs demanding electrical engineer. While, M.Sc. in electrical domain leads to job in the teaching sector.

Most of the colleges across India have the lateral entry provision. Some colleges take admission based on your Diploma percentage and some based on the LEET examination.

Mentioned below are some of the courses that you can pursue:
CATIA V5 (running well as of now), AutoCAD (best tool before CATIA), solidworks, Pro E, Hypermesh, ANSYS, UNIGRAPHICS (current trend).
Stick to the basic tools first like AutoCAD and solid edge and then big tools like CATIA and UG as they can be learnt easily (as far as designing is concerned). If you are interested in analysis Ansys, CFD and hypermesh then go for them as they are the best tools to get trained.
