Indian Institute of Forest Management was established in 1982 as an autonomous institution by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. The vision of IIFM is to be among the leading international institutions in the area of environment, forest and development management and be respected, both nationally and internationally, for its outstanding contributions in the fields of education, training, research, consultancy and thoughts' leadership.
ADMISSION
Admission to the fully residential two year PGDFM is open to graduates from any discipline provided he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria and qualifies through the selection process.
Eligibility
Applicants should have at least a three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with a minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/DA) or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing for the final year graduation examination are also eligible to apply provided they complete it before June 30, 2013 and fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by IIFM.
Admission Procedure
STEP-1: Common Admission Test (CAT)
All applicants desirous of seeking admission in PGDFM at IIFM have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIMs), by responding to their notification published in leading national dailies. IIFM will use the CAT score for short-listing the candidates for two year full time post graduate programme. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
STEP-2: IIFM Application Form:
In addition to CAT, the candidate should also fill-up a separate form for admission to PGDFM, which is available from IIFM Bhopal. The cost of IIFM application form is Rs. 900/- (450/- for SC/ ST) payable at Bhopal. This can be obtained either personally or by post. The application form can also be downloaded from our website and in that case, the completed application form should accompany the Demand Draft of the specified amount drawn in favour of “Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management” payable at Bhopal.
Filled in application form, complete in all respect including the CAT registration number (which will be available on CAT vouchers issued by IIM) should reach IIFM Bhopal on or before 17th December 2012.

Hello Mr. AshishYou want to study abroad for M.tech. but in Abroad there are all PG degree are known has M.S(Master of science). apart from degree some other criteria is also required like :
They saw a strong financial condition like whose student enroll in there institute/university that student is eligible for paying fee regularly and other thing they have also required Good Score in GRE.
In the GRE the verbal score must be more than 400 and the analytical score has to be above 4.0 as to be considered acceptable. minimum score and cut off in these exams varies for each university.
Don't worry feel about financial requirement.

hi sir, im 29 yrs. i got 65% in 10 from cbse board and i failed in 12th , due to immaturity, i quit studying and joined a bpo .worked in bpo's for around 6 years and 2 years as a team leader in accounts receivable dept. in 2012 i did ebba from which i got a degree of executive certificate in business administration from swiss management academy kenya. i dont know whether if its valid here or not or approved by the central government. right now i m not doing anything just a burden to my parents.i dont know what to do . i want to study but dont know whether will i be allow to with this qualification or apply for a decent govt. job . sir pls suggest me something !!!
