Before starting career in software industry i would like to ask u r u very much confidant on any of the programming language. Can u independently handle any language? If ur ans comes yes then only think for software development line or testing line. Every line is good only depends upon u how much depth knowledge u have. As far as salary is concerned It depends upon u how tactfully and technically u have cleared ur interview not upon the degree or certificate u have with u. If ur ans goes to no for programming then some other line as well for ur career. Being a Electronic engineer u can choose embedded system line as well for this u must have sound knowledge of C, C++ and JAVA (complete). If u want u can make plan in Networking line as well. Network Admin, Security Admin, System Admin for this u must have to opt RHCE+CCNA+MCITP+RHCVA & RHCSS as well. Its good to know that you wish to pursue education abroad, however I would suggest you to complete your 12th from India and then pursue undergraduate degree from universities abroad.
Please remember since pursuing education abroad involves a huge investment of time and money, so a proper research should be done to select the best universities offering course of your interest.
You should not simply pursue education abroad just for the sake of going abroad, because not all the universities abroad are good.
For pursuing education abroad, you need to first of all decide, in which country you wish to study, then you need to decide how are you going to finance your studies.
Finally you need to know which good universities are offering course your interest, and what are their eligibility criteria.
