Talking about the career opportunities that each offer:-
1. B.A. economics can offer many entry-level jobs in banking, finance, insurance, stock markets, sales and marketing as well as corporations like consulting firms or government departments. You can also begin your career with government enterprises, public undertakings, investment firms, business journals and newspapers. The Indian Economics Services and Reserve Bank of India are also excellent options open to those who want to join government services.
2. As a B.B.S graduate your employment options may be limited to retail, media, event management, hospitality, etc. You can search out for opportunities in business establishments, corporate organizations, industries, banks and in insurance companies and can work as Business Advisors, Stock dealers.

There were many universities accepting AIMCET, however that was prior to the year 2006. Now most of the universities conduct their own entrance tests. There is not much information about the AIMCET.
The All India MCA Common Entrance Test (AIMCET) was a National Level Test being conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. From year 2005 admissions to MCA programme at IIT Roorkee are also made through JAM which were previously through AIMCET.
I would recommend you to the check with the University in person or check the official website of the University through which you wish to pursue your MCA for the right details.
