Yes if it is not corporate sponsored course , obviously you can't show on the job project. In that case you can take up some entrepreneurial project like fast food, consultancy, agency or online marketing.

Instead of M.A (Sociology) I will suggest you to go for a Professional Course of the same stream i.e M.S.W = Master of Social Work , professional social workers are paid very high by international organisations like Unicef, WHO and also get to involve in jobs related to corporate social responsibility. M.S.W pass outs are now preferred over M.B.A (H.R) as the former are more trained in Laws and Legalities, Developmental Procedures.
So, instead of theoretical degree course M.A (Sociology) ; M.S.W will be highly beneficial for you. The effort, investment, time and curriculum is more or less same, only difference is that M.S.W in skill ori
