# BCA is the three year full time course to introduce the concepts of Computer Application
Duration: 3 years
Eligibility: A Candidate applying for the BCA Programme should have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from any statutory board with minimum 45% of marks in aggregate(40 % in case of SC/ST candidates)
Admissions are based on entrance exam score.

Job prospects are available in various areas like programming, networking, system administration etc. There are many companies which specialize in these areas like WIPRO, TCS etc. But the scope is not limited to the IT companies. Most organizations whether big or small nowadays will have requirements in the IT sections. These include Banking sector, Telecommunication sector, Dairy Sector etc.
Many software and oil industries abroad recruit graduates in computer application. These companies pay the graduates with very high salaries. They can earn upto Rs.30,000/- per month in initial stage itself.
# MCA
Master of Computer Application (MCA) 3 Year (6 Semester Course)
Admission : The admissions made through Admission Test
Eligibility: All the graduate (with 10+2+3) with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC) marks in aggregate with mathematics either at XII level or recognized university are eligible for admission to the MCA course.
