- To get admission into MBBS programme in India, students have to complete their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and score minimum 50% marks (40% in the case of reserved category).
- Students age should be between 17 years to 25 years.
- The given qualification is not enough to get admission into MBBS course, students have to appear for the National Level Examination conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi, I.e. NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). Students also apply for AIIMS Entrance Exam to get admission into MBBS programme.
- From the year 2016, the Supreme Court bans the state level or university level examinations for admission into MBBS programme. Now, all the admission into MBBS course.

NIFT Exam Pattern: - NIFT will test the candidate's knowledge, skill and aptitude for the programme chosen by them. Those seeking admissions to NIFT B. Des programme have to appear for Creative Ability Test (CAT) as well as General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates will be required to take the NIFT Situation Test also. General Ability Test (GAT) for NIFT Bachelor of Design (B. Des. ) consists the following :- English comprehension, quantitative ability, communication ability, analytical & logical ability, general knowledge and current affairs. Aspirants can also check topics for situation test, group discussion and personal interview. Creative Ability Test (CAT) for NIFT Bachelor of Design: - CAT will judge the intuitive ability, power of observation in concept development and design ability of the candidates. An important aspect of the test is to evaluate the creative and innovative use of color and illustration skills. General Ability Test (GAT) for NIFT Bachelor of Technology (B. F. Tech. ) syllabus consists the following :- Quantitative ability, Communication ability and English comprehension, Analytical and Logical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs and case study. Situation Test for NIFT Bachelor of Design (B. Des.):- The shortlisted candidates after the written entrance examination will have to appear for the situation test, which will be a hands-on test to evaluate the candidate's skills for material handling and innovative ability on a given situation with a given set of materials. No additional material will be provided/allowed to them.
