I'm currently a student of UID Industrial Design at Chandigarh University, and honestly, it's been such a great experience for me. The course is designed in a way that helps us learn both creativity and technical skills. What I really like is that we don't just sit and study theory—we do a lot of hands-on work, projects, and practical tasks. The subjects are really interesting, and we get to choose what we want to focus on like Fashion Design, Accessory Designing, or even Lifestyle Designing.
The labs and studios here are amazing. We have special spaces for garment making, textile printing, and pattern designing. It really feels like you're working in a professional setup. Plus, our teachers are super helpful—they come from top design schools and have a lot of real-world experience.
We also get to go on field trips, do internships, and work on live projects. Big brands like H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, and Monte Carlo come for placements, which is a big plus. We even use cool design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, CLO 3D, and Tukatech. It's been a very creative and exciting journey for me so far.

The UID Interior Design course at Chandigarh University is one of the most advanced in the country. It focuses on preparing students to be future-ready professionals. The course includes modern subjects like sustainable interior design, interior product design, and textile interiors. It also offers a flexible exit option after 3 years. The infrastructure is impressive – students work in smart labs, CAD labs, and 3D design labs. There's a big focus on practical learning. In just a few months, the department organized 21 workshops, 19 expert talks, and 20 industry visits. These real-world experiences help students connect classroom learning with industry expectations. The university also supports students by bringing top interior firms to the campus for placements. Their student achievements, like winning design competitions and contributing to international exhibitions, show how active and competitive the programme is. Overall, both the course and the infrastructure are excellent.

In terms of placements, Chandigarh University is the best. Placements are next level. Big companies like Microsoft, IBM, Wipro, Infosys, Invisible Technologies, Juspay Technologies Private Limited, Axtria India Pvt Ltd., Zscaler Softech India Private Limited, Sabre Travel Technologies Private Limited and many more hire from here. CSE students have bagged top offers, including Rs 54.75 LPA in India and Rs 1.7 crore internationally. The university has a dedicated department, DCPD, that trains students for exams, interviews, and placements. With industry tie-ups, students get direct exposure to top companies, making job opportunities even better.

Chandigarh University provides good placement opportunities for Chemistry graduates because of its strong industry connections. Students can work in fields like pharmaceuticals, chemical manufacturing, food processing, research, and environmental science. The university invites companies from different sectors to hire Chemistry graduates for roles in quality control, product development, and laboratory research. I know nothing about Amity University, I can only tell you about Chandigarh University, so as far as I know, the university offers a lot of B.A. LL.B and LL.M, B.Com. LL.B (Hons.), etc. Talking about placements, the law department also has tie-ups and connections with big legal firms such as Kapil Sibal, J Sagar, Amarchand Mangaldas and more. 

And you know what, the law department is not only just about books and classrooms, they have modern infrastructure, a separate library and an auditorium and yes also a Pro Bono Club. 

This club is like the main attraction of the law department. It's made with support from the Ministry of Law and Justice which spreads legal awareness. Another thing about the law department which is really interesting is Madhyastha - Centre of Excellence. It's all about solving problems in court.

Chandigarh University also has ties and collabs with high courts. You get to visit places like the High Court, Supreme Court and even Parliament.
