Candidates receive +2 points for each response that is accurate. On the objective paper, 0.5 marks are subtracted as a negative marking for each wrong response. The descriptive paper has no failing grades. There is no penalty for leaving a question blank.Two marks are given to the contestant for each right response. The mark is subtracted by 0.50 for each incorrect response. For each right response, the applicants can thus add two marks, while for each incorrect response, they can deduct 0.50 from their final score. For each incorrect response, a deduction of 0.50 marks occurs. Every incorrect response in Tier 2's Sections 1, 2, and the first module of Section 3 carries a one-mark deduction.

VIT has multiple campuses across cities namely VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT Bhopal and VIT-AP (VIT Amaravati). All four campuses are known for engineering programmes The oldest campus of VIT is VIT Vellore. VIT Chennai offers UG and PG courses. It is famous for its proximity to Chennai. One of the newer campuses of VIT is VIT Bhopal, known to have a conducive environment for learning. The perception of 'best' depends on individual preferences and career choices. 

The hostel includes one room in which two students can stay, there will be two beds one table and at least one chair, also there is an attached washroom for which the fee at the hostel of IKGPTU main campus is 15k per year, which should be submitted in advance for one year or at least 6 months. 

No other bills are included here, everything will be maintained by hostel service.

Also, the mess is not included in the hostel fee, you need to pay extra for that. mess in our hostel is run by students only and that costs 21k per sem and it can vary according to your diet except you use Cooler in your room if you are using cooler in your room there is a charge of 300 rs per month for each person in that room.
