It would not be possible to give you the information about the number of seats available with all the IITs for M.tech programme. Such information is generally not published and is only kept with the organization conducting the Entrance Examination i.e. one of the IITs, for GATE 2011 it was IIT Madras so you can check with them. every year ip university conducted a cet(common entrance test) .he will be eligible for pursuing any course from ip who are sucessfully to crack this test .if u not able to do it then dont be serious.

Documents required to apply for admission- Class 10 and 12 marksheets and Passing certificate, sem wise or year wise marksheets, degree certificate or provsional certificate, Statement of Purpose, Letters of Recommendation(2), Work experience letters from all employers (if any), CV (if you have work ex), A copy of your passport(1st and Last Page), IELTS ( 6.5 min for PG courses). IELTS can be submitted later on if not already written.
