Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA (Full-Time) Programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelors Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows :-
Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
Sciences - 55%
Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00
OR
Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.
Note : Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelors / Post Graduate Degree examinations may also apply.
2. There is no reservation whatsoever for the graduates of Delhi university or the residents of Delhi.

a graduate in any stream with percentage above 50. A candidate may apply for a maximum of three programmes. Those who apply for multiple programmes may be called for multiple interviews and/or group discussions. The selection criteria for different programmes may differ depending on the nature of the programme. XAT written test will have multiple components and you need to maximize your performance in each of these components. In its pursuit of academic excellence, XLRI actively encourages the students from diverse backgrounds. While preparing the short-listed candidates for the interview, in addition to XAT performance, we may factor in academic ability and the relevant work experience. Besides performance in the personal interviews (and/or group discussions) we also consider XAT performance, relevant work experience, academic ability, extra curricular activities etc. while preparing the final list.
XAT 2011 had three sections 'Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA), 'Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QA) and 'Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making Ability (AR).
For Human Resource Management Programme around 650 applicants having more than 92.60 percentile in VA, 80.36 percentile in QA, 84.36 percentile in RA

13. What is the eligibility criterion for applying?
For Domestic candidates
An undergraduate degree or equivalent (as defined by Association of Indian Universities (http://www.aiuweb.org/) in Engineering with First Class or a Graduate degree in any branch of Sciences (e.g. MS, M.Sc. etc.) with First Class.
Candidates appearing for the final degree examination can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally. They have to complete all requirements for the qualifying degree at the time of joining the course.
Candidate must have at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CPI on the scale of 10 (all years/semesters put together) in the qualifying degree.
Candidate with a M.Sc. as qualifying degree must have at least 60% marks or 6.5 CPI on the scale of 10 in bachelor's degree as well as in M.Sc. degree.
For candidates with an M.Tech degree the B.Tech./B.E./ M.Sc. degree would be considered as qualifying degree.
SC/ST candidates must have at least 55% marks or 6.0 CPI in aggregate in the qualifying degree.

For the PGPM courses the eligibility criteria is as follows :
The candidates must have 50% marks or equivalent
CGPA in both X and XII.
• The candidate must have minimum 3 year's Bachelor's
Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
in any discipline from any University incorporated by an
Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other
educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament
or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3
of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification
recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of
India. The Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three
years of education after completing higher secondary
schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Candidates appearing
for the final examination for the Bachelor's degree (or
equivalent examination) and completing all requirements
for obtaining the Bachelor's degree by 30th June, 2014
can also apply, subject to furnishing evidence to that
effect latest by 1st October, 2014; otherwise they may
be asked to withdraw from the programme
• The basis for computing the percentage obtained
by the candidate would be based on the practice
followed by the university/ institution/board from where
the candidate has obtained the degree/certificate. In
case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA
instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on
the equivalence certified by the university/ institution/
board from where they have obtained bachelor's degree/
certificate. In case the university/ institution /board does
not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent
marks, the equivalence would be established by MDI by
dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible
CGPA and multiplying fraction so obtained by 100.

Hi Irfan, Out of the two, B.Sc IT would be out of question because the eligibility requirement includes the student of having studied Science+Maths in +2. As for BCA is concerned, it is a benefit for the commerce students who are keen to pursue a career in IT , also having Maths is preferred for the future but still there are institutes which accept application to admission of students without having studied Maths in +2. Although there are Institutes providing MBA in IT but you would not find many good Institutes providing This Degree. Few of The Institutes which you may consider are Symbiosis, SMU, and Amity etc. For more information please check the links below:
