The most important thing which you should keep in mind while choosing your specialization, is your own interests and career aspirations. As Human Resource professionals understand and address the progressive needs of the firm and direct individual potential towards a common goal & the job involves managing the intake and growth of the people working in the company at all levels, and these professionals need to have certain traits like: they must like working with people. They must have good social skills including tact, patience, understanding and persuasiveness. Communication skills are important & last but not least they should have an eye to see things from the employers as well as the employees perspective. So, if you feel that you fit the bill go ahead for HR as a specialization. Similarly, look into other specializations and see which one is compatible to you and go ahead.
