As shiksha is an Education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion about a particular Institute, however, FOSTIIMA Business School is an Autonomous Institute affiliated with Pondicherry University. It does give 100% placement assistance but what I feel that the more than the institute the job placements depend on your own performance on the programme and how you use the knowledge earned at the time of placements.
For other details I would suggest you to visit the institute once and interact with the Faculty and current batch students. Apart from this you should also try and get the alumnae contacts and get the feedback from them, as they can give you more realistic picture of the Institute.

Danny. I see that in your previous post you have broadly enquired about PG, whereas now you have narrowed down to an MBA. Before I answer your question, I want to ask you a few questions.
1. What do you want the PG degree to to accomplish. Don't you have job opportunities for a B.Tech in Aeronautical Engg?
2. Doesn't your college call companies for campus placement?
3. Your specialization is pretty niche and expensive. Not everyone studies Aeronautics. So why are you not interested in an MS or an M.Tech?
4. Have you discussed this with the seniors in your college? what are most of them doing?

Hi Sonam, architecture is a course that requires very good marks and most of the courses will require you to have a portfolio. Here are some details that you should know before you take the plunge.
Courses offered will be of 2 types : courses incorporating RIBA accreditation and courses without RIBA accr. If you intend to work in the UK then you should go for RIBA accredited courses.
RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) - is required if you want to work in the UK as an Architect. Without this you can not practise as architect. if you go for courses without the accreditation incorporated, then you need to apply for membership after course completion. With RIBA courses, you can get credits or be eligible for MArch in the UK.
In case you are not able to get admission directly for BArch, you can take up the foundation route before direct admission.
Courses commence in September and one can not apply directly to the Universities(most of them). You need to apply through UCAS and the last date is 30 June. You have the provision of applying to 5 Universities and UCAS charges GBP 21 for it. if you take the foundation route then you will have to study for an extra 6 months - a year and for that the course will commence in Jan and the main course in sep. IELTS minimum of 6.0 is expected. You need to fill the application online and upload the documents also before submitting the application.
