The eligibility criteria for admissions is that a candidate must be:
Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* or equivalent CGPA ( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor's degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Appeared* for the final year examination of any Bachelor's degree to be awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree exam with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).
The admissions for Maharashtra category seats in most Maharashtra MBA colleges including JBIMS will be based on MMS-CET conducted by D.T.E., Maharashtra followed by the CAP rounds.
The All India Seats which are 15% of total will be allotted based on the best of CET/CAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT scores.

If you are creative, do opt for Career in Animation and Digital Media. Its a Skill oriented Vocational Career in which after mastering the skills, you may do a job, freelance your services or even become self employed.
Career Spectrum includes working for Animation Studios working on Animation films or Animation Services, Production Houses involved in visual effects & editing, Gaming Co's for Mobile, Console and Online applications, Ad Agencies creating Advertisements, Web & Internet Companies developing Websites, E-Learning Co's developing educational contents, Architectural Co's using 3d Walk Through, Graphic Design Co's involved in Print-Publishing, Imaging, Packaging, Layout design etc. among other avenues.
Animation calls for a wide bouquet of skills from traditional art skills to articulation skills, storytelling to aesthetic appreciation, and creativity to technical prowess. Animation and Digital Media Careers are practical oriented and will need strong mentoring.
Digital Media and Animation related programs are offered by lot of Government Colleges and Autonomous Institutes & Universities. Identify top few Institutes in your city by online research & visit top 5 institutes. You may do your own analysis to identify most appropriate option Feel free to revert.
