Es. There are many people trying for an engineering degree over a law degree. The following point has been stressed upon very well in movies like 3 Idiots but I'll repeat anyway. Do what you love to do. It will help you in the long run. Remember it is always better to be an excellent civil engineer than being an average law professional.

You can get job abroad after PGDM if you do PGDM from prestigious B Schools such as IIM. You can also get job abroad after gaining few years of experience in India after PGDM.

To become Software Engineer you may do BTech in Computer Science or IT of Software engineering. Most of Engineering colleges admit students based on their entrance examination. JEE is common admission test for IITs, NITs and other autonomous colleges. You are advised to appear for JJE Mains and other engineering entrance examinations.

B.Sc is three-year course while B.Tech is a 4-year course, if you want theoretical knowledge go for B.Sc. If practical knowledge is a priority then go for B.Tech.

Hi Bhaiswajyoti,
The top ones , yes it is hard. As already answered by other experts to the previous similar queries you posted, universities in US evaluates the overall profile holistically and there is no thumb rule to hard or easy admissions. You need to develop an all-rounded profile.
