JEE Main 2016 Spot Seat Allotment
1. In case of having some vacant seats in JEE Main 2016 Counselling, then another round will be done by CSAB.
2. If any aspirant is already allotments registration then he/she does not need to have registration of authority site of CSAB.
3. Someone who is registering for the first time need to register in CSABs official site too. He/she has to fill in the choices, pay the appropriate fees and lock choices for allotment.
4. The spot round process of JEE Main 2016 will let you give the admission in NITs, CFTIs and IIITs (Govt.) and Self Financed institutes too.
JEE Main 2016 Counselling Important Note
1. If a seat got rejected in JEE Main 2016 Counselling then no one will be allowed to take part in any of the further rounds as well as the spot round.
2. If a candidate is allotted to an institute, and if because of any issues, he/she wishes take back him from that institute then he/she will not be having the further rounds including spot rounds.

B.Tech. is a professional Bachelors’ degree program whereas B.Sc. is only an academic Science graduation course. B Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology whereas B.Sc. is Bachelor of Science. They have to study about the processes involved in designing new instruments, techniques or programs, which comes under their field of study. The common merit list that is prepared is based on the candidate’s performance in the exam. Please remember that only those aspirants, who have taken both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered for ranking.
As far as the marking system is concerned, the marks secured by a candidate in Physics will be equal to the marks he/she secures in Physics part of Paper 1 plus marks in Physics part of Paper 2. The same procedure is followed for Chemistry and Mathematics too. Thus, the sum of the marks obtained in individual subjects in JEE Advanced 2015 will be the aggregate marks for the aspirant.
Coming back to the merit list, aspirants must have scored at least 10% in each subject and 35% in aggregate in order to be in the common merit list(CML). Separate lists will be prepared for the prepared for general, OBC (NCL), SC and ST category students.
Students from OBC (NCL) category should have scored at least 9% in each subject and 31.5% in aggregate in order to be in the OBC (NCL) merit list. However, students from the SC and ST categories must score at least 5% in each subject and 17.5% in aggregate in order to be in their respective merit lists.
Merit lists for PwD candidates:
Separate merit lists will be prepared for PwD candidates who further belong to the GE, OBC (NCL), SC and ST categories. To be in these merit lists, candidates must score at least 5% in each subject and 17.5% in aggregate.
