All fields are good for better future, but I would like to grab your attention towards something which is more important.
If you are planning for going in some engineering field, you will have to gain as much knowledge you can throughout your 4 years of Bachelor's degree.
If you will be proficient in that particular branch then you need not to care about which branch is better.
If there are less opportunity that doesn't mean you should not go ahead and vice versa.
Finally, just analyze your capabilities and take a decision.
It's totally depends on you which will be the bright future.

To get into reputed colleges for engineering in India you will have to score a good percentage (above 75%) in your 12th board from Non-medical and you will have to prepare for entrance exams alongside. JEE is the major exam you will have to write through which you can get admission into NIT 's& IIT's which are the most prestigious colleges of the country. There are various other entrance exams like BITSAT, IPUCET, ICAR and many others and there are colleges that will admit students on the basis of score of one of these exams.

Career launcher has an awesome test series with most of the mocks having similar difficulty with respect to CAT. The faculty members are always available for clearing the doubts. The mock analysis always helped me to monitor my performance in many respects. I am thankful to CL for guidance in my preparation.

Hello Jayesh,
With just 48% marks in 12th, you may not be eligible for admission to many private colleges. My sincere advise to you is to go for graduation in arts or commerce or fine arts.
