Hello Tejas,
Electronics and communication engineering is better than electrical and electronics engineering, because in EEE you will be able to work only in core company means, even if you don't get a job related to EEE, you cannot go in any other way as your EEE will be really dedicated and towards main stream.
And recruiters don't prefer EEE graduates for all fields like ECE graduates.
In case of ECE, you can get jobs in all fields. ECE graduates are getting jobs in all fields like IT, automobile, telecommunication etc.
So, if you take ECE, you can get a job easily even if you don't get a core job.

Hello, what is your expected final grade? MS programs are highly competitive in Canada. Your profile seems strong however admissions will depend on your overall application package including LORs and SOP. Also, MS programs could be either research based or coursework. Research based are selective and would require a supervis to accept you first. You have to decide what is best for you and apply accordingly. Begin researching on the Masters courses, visit university websites, write to them and start the application process a year ahead of the intakes.
