It is true, but the reason above is not true. People say that it is a trend but it's not. It is a hope for some students to get a good salary job as they need money due to their financial conditions. Many people opt for engineering as the top engineering graduates are really highly paid.

1. Practice a variety of questions (in terms of difficulty level) on a regular basis.
2. Solve and analyse each mock seriously.
3. Clear all doubts & work on the important shortcuts/tips.
4. Solve last year's papers too for a better understanding of the type of questions asked.
5. Make a note of your weaknesses and work hard on them.
6. Keep faith in yourself and never panic during the actual exams.

In general, I would recommend to go for BBA or B.Com, then go for MBA. Don't get disheartened, if you have scored less percentage in class 12th. It's ok. Many good B.Com and BBA colleges admit students who have minimum 60% in class 12th. But, if you are interested in other field of study, you can go for them also.
