Admissions are in a way consequential, either based on the MHT-CET test (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) or the JEE Main, in that candidates are mostly selected based on their performance in the entrance tests.
For the MHT-CET, as for the recent data, the percentile score for the General category in the Chemical Engineering programme is between 99.31 and 99.51.
This means that to gain an admission one has to perform better than 0.5 percent of candidates who sat for similar test.
