Just for your knowledge apart from MBA there are other Post Graduation Courses as well which are taken up by students and students are getting guaranteed salary packages in the range of 4 -6 Lacs. Some of these courses are Hospitality, International Hotel Management, Healthcare, Event Management, Public Relations and Corporate Administration. So while you are looking for a MBA course which is of 2 years duration, you can also go for these 1 year post graduation courses.

In order to practice as a dentist or to pursue Masters degree in dentistry from abroad the applicants are required to get themselves registered with the Dental council of those countries and clear the eligibility test to pursue MDS or practice as dentist.
The dental council in most of the countries conducts the qualifying exam for the foreign trained dentist, only if the candidates clears this test, they are allowed to practice or pursue masters degree.
So, as per your query I would suggest you to browse through the official website of dental council of South Africa to know the eligibility criteria to pursue MDS from South Africa.

There is no such criteria for lateral entry other than diploma engg. student, so if you wanted to completed your graduation than you have to complete it in full duration as any other student.

If you think that you can clear your compartment than joining a college is not a bad idea as every college give time to submit your documents. but if you dont have much believe before result than dont go for college and there is also a positive aspect with it, i mean if you prepare well than next year you may get a more better rank.
