Hi Janhavi,
With 300 marks and general category, it is difficult to get free government MBBS seat. But, if you have category benefits, then there are chances. Also, you can get MBBS seat in management quota and deemed universities. If not MBBS, than you can apply for BDS or BAMS or any branch of your choice.

Yes, you can. In SASTRA, 70% seats for B.Tech course are filled on the basis of JEE Main score along with prior weightage to the marks in 10+2.
30% seats in B.Tech are filled on the basis of merit drawn on the basis of marks in 10+2 followed by counselling. In the case of admission through JEE Main over 70% seats, 75% weightage will be given to JEE Main score while 25% to the marks in 10+2. In the case of admission, on the basis of 10+2 merit over 30% seats, normalized marks of each board will be considered.

If a seat is allotted to you, the pay fees of Rs. 20000 or Rs. 12000 (SC) is not refundable. This rule is implemented this year.

If we talk about B.Tech then it is fine to do from private university but renowned, M.Tech from IITs need certain criteria for that, you have to prepare well during graduation. For B.Tech you can try for SRM University, Lovely Professional University and Amity University as you need to groom your skills much so that you do not face concern after M.Tech.
