If you are good at maths, then you should go for Engineering branches like Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc. Institutions that offer good Quality Engineering Courses are:-
BITS Pilani
Delhi College of Engineering

Although there are less opportunities after just Bachelor degree but if you have opted to do M.Sc. Then, there will be more scope and chances to get good opportunities in this field. No doubt that IIT are always better institutions than any other engineering colleges. They provide you the best environment for study and research. Our Indian government also focus on these IITs in order to make them centre of excellence and promote research activities there.
So according to me IIT Ropar should be prefered.
