MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION: IMS, BHU. Qualification : Passed Intermediate Science/Pre-Medical Course/12 year of 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. Age Limit: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 1st December of admission year. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects and obtained minimum 50% marks in physics, chemistry biology taken together. Please see the difference between the qualifications required for PRT / TGT / PGT teachers. Essential Qualification for (PRT) Teacher: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)
Essential Qualification for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) B.Ed Degree from a recognized University + Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Essential Qualification for (PGT) Teacher B.Ed Degree from a recognized University + Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate.
