The institute was established in the year 2000 under the supervision of "SHRI NATH JI TRUST".
The college is situated in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.The Institute currently offers bachelor degree programs, Masters degree programs in Engineering & Management areas of study .
The campus covers over 65 acres on the outskirts of Ghaziabad, in the middle of the fast developing National Capital Region. VIET provides their students high speed, wi-fi connections. At VIET, the institute have state of the art infrastructure including modern Labs,online student monitoring program and best qualified faculty. Library and information Centre of VET offer a comprehensive range of services to help students to get the best out of learning at the campus. Each department of VIET has its own separate computerized library and networked with others. It enables the users to on-line access for getting information on availability of required book(s). Institutional Membership of INDEST-AICTE Consortium (IEEE & ASME), NPTEL (National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning), DELNET (Developing Library Network) and BCL (British Council of Library) enable the user to get access available e-resources and collection of other member libraries. In campus, VIET have Outlet of Sagar Ratna Restaurent's chain, Oriental Bank of Commerce with ATM facility, medical center, NESCAFE outlet,book store, General store, PCO, gymnasium, and indoor and outdoor games facilities. The Saraswati Temple adds peace and tranquility to the surroundings. Also located in the campus are a Few Campus-Shops, that take care of the books, stationery items and other day-to-day requirements of the students staying in the hostels.
