Different government jobs have different eligibility criteria.
The Civil Service Examination is organized by UPSC every year to recruit candidate for IAS, IPS etc.
Academic Qualification:
The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in any field from a well known college or university.
You can pursue graduation in any stream.
Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission's examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the Prelim

Yes, if you choose the right course The selection of the course and college is of vital importance not just for the quality of the education but also for jobs and salary the institutes could fetch.
Most Important the Masters degree earned in UK is not valid in India. Government does not recognize a Master degree from UK as a masters degree, which means you can not go for a PhD in India or any public services if they require maters degree.

Hi, you should have at least 5 years experience if you are planning executive MBA from NMIMS. The course fee is 4.5 lakhs, it can be completed between 15 months to 5 years
if you want to pursue from KJ Somiya, JBIMS, N L Dalmia, ADMI etc, which offers 3 years MMM (Marketing Management) and all of these are good institute, it needs at least 3 years experience after graduation and the fee is around 60000 per year. They are at par with MBA and are masters programme

You still have a good chance of getting admission into good colleges in mechanical or Electrical branch across India. But the problem is rush with the admission process as soon as possible. As, it is August and you are searching for colleges! I would recommend you to prefer colleges in Pune or Mumbai, as there are numerous colleges available here! Or you can choose any reputed colleges nearby your locality. Don't worry, 119k is still a good rank to make you land into a decent colleges with branch of your choice.
