The university is UGC recognized and Ministry of Human Resources Development.
1. You can opt for PhD in counseling and Psychotherapy
The eligibility criteria for PhD varies for every institute. However the basic requirement is a Masters degree or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline. However the cut off percentages vary. Some of the institutes conduct entrance exams and some of them require atleast two Research Publications for the PhD programs. Some also require work experience of a couple of years.
2. UGC NET is conducted mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Qualifying Examination:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects can appear for the exam. Those who have acquired post graduation from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%.
Age Qualification:
The candidates appearing for JRF should not be above 28 years of age. The candidates appearing only for lectureship have no upper age limit. Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST/OBC or physically disabled or women or visually handicapped.

Dear Manish,No university can offer technical programs through Distance Mode. As per UGC, Ministry Of Human Resource Development and DEC , technical Education through Distance mode is banned and it is illegal.
DEC already warned KSOU to stop its Technical programs through Distance Mode.
You can check the DEC web site where on the home page itself the banner is flashing about Show cause notice to KSOU.
I suggest you do not waste your again 2 years by doing it in KSOU.
Instead take BCA/BSc-IT/CS through Distance Learning or Regular if possible.
BCA/Bsc will take just 1 more year than your KSOU BE, but it will be valid and legal Degree through out your life.
