Dear Shalini,Even though British education is considered best and respectful around the globe, It is not valid in India. As India do not recognize 1 year PG Degrees. And all British PG Program is of 1 year duration.
We need to amend our education system.
How can we derecognize such a high standard educational system when we our self have lowest quality. Not a single Indian university stand in best 150 universities of World. Whereas china, Taiwan , Singapore and Japan is having many universities in Top 50.
MNC will prefer British Degrees but not Govt and Universities.
Good Luck !

Dear Prashant, for PhD , you need master degree. PG diploma or Executive Masters are not recognised as eligibility for PhD.
Better you enroll for MSc-CS/IT direct II year on the Basis of PGDCA and then go for PhD.
Good Luck !
