The eligibility requirements for admission to Certificate courses differ according to the chosen course. Some of the certificate courses require that candidates have completed their BE/ BTech/ other UG degrees. Additionally, to get admissions into some of the certificate courses, applicants are required to complete their Class 12. Check out the eligibility requirements for some of the certificate courses below:

• To be admitted to the postgraduate programme in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, candidates must have completed a BE/ BTech, BSc (Information Technology/Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics), BCA, etc.
• Candidates must finish their BE, BTech., or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, etc., in order to be admitted to a Certificate programme in Computer-Aided Design using CREO.
• Candidates must finish their Class 10 coursework in order to be admitted to the Certificate in Solar Power Installation, Operation, and Maintenance (Online).
• In order to enrol in NIELIT Calicut's EV Technology & Public Charging Station course, candidates must have a bachelor's degree or Diploma in electronics. 

Functional/Business Clubs:

• GIBS has a number of student-run clubs ranging from the Marketing Club, Finance Club, and HR Club to Entrepreneurship Club.
• AI & Technology/CSR: There is also an "AI & Technology Society" and a CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility Society, according to student reports.
• Photography Club:
• The Photography Club is for creative interests.
• Cultural / Literary Clubs: GIBS offers opportunities for cultural and literary engagements through clubs involved in organizing events, debates, and other activities.

Business Events & Leadership Activities

• IRE Talk Series: GIBS organizes a large number of "IRE Talks" (Innovation, Research & Entrepreneurship), where startup founders, industry leaders, and innovators interact with students.
• Management Fests: This includes an annual management fest called Enchainer, which has business competitions like marketing, HR, finance case-studies, entrepreneurship, public speaking, quizzes, CSR, and so on.
• Workshops & Seminars: The school conducts regular workshops, guest lectures, and conferences to expose students to real-world business challenges.
• Corporate/Academic Conferences: GIBS also incorporates “academic conferences” for students as part of the PGDM program.

Internship & Holistic Development Programs

• Compulsory Internship/Corporate Projects: The PGDM course consists of corporate projects and internships, where students will get to work on live business problems.
• GIBS Finishing School: The CPMP is a unique, specially designed programme for the development of soft skills, business communication, interview techniques, and personal branding.
• Incubation & Start-up Support: GIBS has an incubation centre to support student entrepreneurs. Multiple startups have been launched, for which mentorship, IRE labs, and funding were provided. Dual Degree/IRE Program:
•  A dual-degree option is available, namely, PGDM + PGP-IRE, which is quite action-oriented, wherein students do strategy building, case studies, research, publication, and are supported for venture creation.
• Training on Skills & Design Thinking: GIBS provides training programs in analytics, design thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship in value-added programs through its “Institute Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell (IIC)".

 Bottom line: At GIBS, much emphasis is placed on all-round development through business education, entrepreneurship, industry exposure, soft skills training, and student-run clubs and events.

To gain admission into either the MBA or PGDM programs at GIBS Business School, applicants will typically be required to satisfy the following qualifications:

Consistent with previously submitted academic requirements related to education, applicants must hold, at a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree (from an accredited institution) in any discipline, and have achieved, at a minimum, 50% cumulative marks (or equivalent CGPA). The University may consider relaxations according to reservation policy (if applicable) as it pertains to the admissions process.

An applicant (who is not transferring from another University) must have scored highly enough on an acceptable management entrance examination such as the CAT or the MAT or CMAT or XAT, ATMA, or GMAT to be eligible for admission into either the MBA or PGDM program.

In addition to fulfilling either of the above admissions requirements, final-year students will be considered eligible to apply provided that they will submit proof of degree requirement completion prior to the last possible date required by the University.
