Hi Thara, As per your query I would say you are going on a right career path. Since you are a B.E degree holder and also possess work experience, idea of pursuing MBA with a good specialization can be a value added advantage to your professional graph in terms of both designation and salary meter.
Well if you want to pursue MBA in the following session, it is late but not too late, you can still apply for MAT exam that will be held in both February and May. And even there are colleges that offer MBA either through any of the common entrances or they conduct their own like IMM, IIPM, Symbiosis or IIFT etc.

Hi Nandy,
The information on reservation quota for different sections to secure a seat in one of the IIM's can be found on www.catiim.in
As far as your query is concerned there is no such defined percentile criteria that any of the IIM's take under the OBC category. It certainly depends upon the cut off marks that each of them receives.
CAT exam put forward strict qualification criteria as it is one of the most sought after exams for admission to MBA programs in premium business schools in India. So I would suggest you to concentrate more on the preparation for the exam so as to procure admission in your desired branch of IIM.
