As every person is unique with his own set of strengths and weaknesses so, the most important thing while choosing your career path is your strengths, interests and career aspirations. I would say that if you are week in programming but you want to pursue a career in technical field you can go for other sections of Computer application like hardware, networking, technical writing, (if you have good content writing skills).
