If your father is a resident of Mumbai and staying in Mumbai for a certain number of years he would be deemed to be domicile of Maharashtra. As a result of this, you also could be considered as a domicile of Maharashtra and can seek admission, as a Maharashtra candidate for any of the engineering colleges situated within the state.
