I can say from XLRI perspective. It is still a work in progress course. Honestly speaking, you can do it from better institutes like IIM-Bangalore or IIM-Ahmedabad. People doing EFPM from XLRI have also had success no doubt, but you will still get better chances in the IIMS.

On its website it shows different deadlines for different programs. It shows 1 February for engineering programme application and 1 March for the documents. So you should submit before it.

Let me first explain the dynamics of lateral admission. These admissions are given basically against the seats which are lying vacant when the students pass out from 1st year and go to the second year.
