Dear Himanshu Start preparing from the very first month of your last year or if possible start the study earlier in advance but not disturbing your regular studies. ok
for CAT you have to concentrate on three main things :: English, Logical reasoning & Quantitaive Aptitude
To prepare for these three things you have to study regularaly and practise the problems regularly .Various publications are avalable in the market u can use them.
In the meanwhile go through the earlier papers also which provides you better understanding towards the study and practise in answering the questions.
The Other exams are MAT, XAT, SNAP etc. you can apply for them also.

The first two sections of the GRE CBT test are Analytical Writing sections. The duration of the two tasks to be completed as part of the Analytical Writing section lasts 75 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes).
The objective type questions in the GRE CBT test starts from the third section. The third section is a 30 minutes - 30 questions verbal section and the fourth section is a 45 minutes - 28 questions Quantitative section.
GRE Verbal Section - Section 3 - 30 minutes, 30 questions
The GRE Verbal section comprises about 6 Sentence Completion questions, 7 Analogy questions, 8 Reading Comprehension questions and 9 Antonym questions. You will have 30 minutes to answer these 30 questions.
GRE Quantitative Section - Section 4 - 45 minutes, 28 questions
The Quantitative section of the GRE CBT test comprises 28 questions. About 14 of these questions are problem solving questions while the other 14 are quantitative comparison questions.
