See Lokesh, there are immense job opportunities are there for you. If u have good marks and good technical knowledge then you will defenetly get the job.
MAinframe course is also the nice choice if you are looking it form the job perspective but I would say that it will limit the job opportunities for you, because as u r telecommunication engineer u will get the job in Electronics field then in telecommunication field also if u done any software courses then in software field also
So dont be confused, think before taking any decision

Dear Himanshu Start preparing from the very first month of your last year or if possible start the study earlier in advance but not disturbing your regular studies. ok
for CAT you have to concentrate on three main things :: English, Logical reasoning & Quantitaive Aptitude
To prepare for these three things you have to study regularaly and practise the problems regularly .Various publications are avalable in the market u can use them.
In the meanwhile go through the earlier papers also which provides you better understanding towards the study and practise in answering the questions.
