I am teaching students of XII science for more than 10 years and according to my experience most of the students qualify IIT JEE WITHOUT any coaching. Coaching is for external motivation and forced disciplined study. Those who enroll in coaching and get through can even do so without coaching but due to insecure feeling they join coaching and give their credit to coaching centres. I have seen many coaching centres PAYING qualifiers to write feedback that they were guided by some coaching which even they never went for. For self motivated students like you cracking IIT JEE is MORE THAN POSSIBLE. Now a days there are more IITs too.
