I think lateral entry into any engineering college in Maharashtra is restricted to those who have passed their diploma in Maharashtra. But perhaps window to study in Maharashtra is still open by way of admission to engineering colleges run by deemed to be university.

It is Shikhar. I have studied there and I am in IIT-Bombay pursuing B.Tech in CSE. It is small place with limited students. Kurmi Sir is one of the best teachers that I have met in my life. He can even guide you personally anytime anywhere. More than 85 students were selected in Advance 2017 out of less than 150 students.

If you have more than one year gap after graduation, you will be not be eligible to apply. Since you passed out in 2016, you have more than 12 months gap upto Dec 2017. So, you will not be eligible.

Qualification required :-As per NEET eligibility to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examination with Physics Chemistry biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.

Hi, CUSAT CAT is an all India level common admission test conducted by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) for admissions to the various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the institutes affiliated to the University.
