First of all, congratulations. Getting seat in SASTRA University through counselling (based on board marks and JEE) is so simple if you have above 80% score but through diploma, you have a chance that you can get directly into second year as the first option or through normal counselling based on your diplomo score is the second option. As far as my opinion is concerned, first option is so difficult, even for the 95% score. So, you have a fair option of counselling process where in, you could get a fair chance of mechanical department B.Tech.
