Hi rohit, the total Program fee for MBA course in Lovely Professional University is different for different programs. right now LPU offers around 8 MBA programs for more details you can visit http://www.lpu.in/program/Management-after-Graduation.php and the General MBA programs like MBA and MBA (Hons) fee INR is 89500 per semester and 99500 respectively and these fees are without scholarship, if you get the scholarshit then your fees could be INR 39500(MBA) and 49500 (MBA Hons). for more details log on to the www.lpu.in or just click the link i mentioned above.

Hey Divya, in terms of competitiveness LPU is right now going say OK because the companies coming for placement are not bad and not that good. but in coming future it might become better because this year it had been ranked in top 15 B schools in India. So definitely their will be a change in placement style and the salary which my seniors got last year was around 5.5 lac (Hons program) and simple was around 4.2 lac.

UGC stands for University Guidance Council and PGDM is approved by All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE).
It gives you a proper knowledge of the Practical world . AICTE approves the institute only after scrutinizing upon various parameters like, infrastructure , no. of teaching staff proper industrial training etc. But when you go for a PSU job they prefer only those who have a MBA degree. until or unless the institute providing PGDM is under the Association of Indian University(AIU).

It is possible but definitely you can get only very low ranking institutes So inorder to pursue in top B schools you have to write CAT/XAT as already mentioned If you want above avg B schools Go for MAt/CMAT For AVG B schools write state govt entrance test like TANCET(tamilnadu)For below avg institutes no need for entrance test.Those institutes are Arts and Science collge MBAs IIPM etc.,You shld plan according your position if you are working dont go for avg or below avg institutes if you are fresher engineer go for avg or good institutes If you are degree holder without any job and want to do MBA go for below avg institutes without wr

Hi, PU has 2 colleges of MBA. UIAMS has a fee of about 2 lakhs per annum. UBS has a comparitively very less fee. UBS is considered very good. In addition, living expenses are also reasonable and not high.

IIM Lucknow has seen 100% placement this year and it has consistently been able to get students into premier companies every year. Though average salary figures are not officially available but rough estimates would tell you it is upwards of 15 lac. Moreover, avg salary is not the best criteria to judge the placement of where you as a student could get in, the placement depends on the strength of your CV, your academic performance in college and in school amongst other things.
