An astronomer is a scientist who studies celestial bodies such as black holes, moons, planets, stars, asteroids, comets, nebulae and galaxies, as well as Gamma-ray bursts and cosmic microwave background radiation. A related but distinct subject, cosmology, is concerned with studying the universe as a whole. An astronomer researches the world beyond earth.
Educational Requirements:-
A doctoral degree is the usual educational requirement to become an astronomer, since most of the work tends to be related to research and development.
Those who opt for this field, should pass their plus two examination under the science stream, specially in physics and math's. For pursuing a career in theoretical or observational astronomy one may go through the science stream after plus two. Since universities offering undergraduate programme in Astronomy are rarely found, one can join for a major/ honours in Physics with Mathematics as a subsidiary subject. Thereafter, take a master's degree in Physics or Astronomy. After the successful completion of MSc, one can do specialization in astronomy leading to Ph. D. which enables one to become an astronomer/ astronaut/ astrophysicist or a scientist/ research officer etc. in the field of space research.
For doing Ph.D, which is mandatory to do research, one should appear for the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) examination.
For pursuing a career in Instrumentation/ Experimental Astronomy, after plus two one can go for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical / Electronics/ Electrical Communications. An engineer with a B. Tech or BE degree could also enter the field as a research scholar.
Personal skills :
The essential quality to become an astronomer is curiosity, enthusiasm and greater concentration. They should have above average intelligence, high imagination, persistence, problem-solving and analytical skills and must possess both mathematical and computer skills. Loads of patience is required in this field as the astronomers has to work long for irregular hours. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also important because most astronomers are expected to work as part of a team. They must be capable of explaining scientific phenomena and conveying the information in an easily absorbed format and language.

Khushboo, If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. This is a field where nobody cares for your qualification, they only see if you can do quality work. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field.
Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in UI Design, Graphic Design, Storyboarding, Animation Design, Game Design, 3D Modelling, Texturing and Lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). Of course at the top of the pile lies Concept Designing - these people are required by Event Companies, Animation Studios, VFX Studios, and of course Game Studios. However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers.
Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Electrical Engineering has a very broad scope with the science and technology which involves electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism in order to design, construct, and maintain products, services, and information systems.
There are two options available after completing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Option 1: Take up job
There are many good job opportunities available after completing B.Tech (Electrical Engineering).If you are financially sound and there is no compulsion of taking up a job, then you can opt for higher studies.
Option 2: Higher education
M.Tech:-
For pursuing M.Tech (Electrical Engineering) course, you have an option to consider specializations such as Power Electronics and Drives, Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Control and Instrumentation, Applied Electronics, Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, Nanotechnology , Nano-medical Sciences, Remote Sensing and Geo-Informatics Systems, Clinical Engineering, and so on.
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score is a must for getting admission into any of the universities. Depending on the GATE score, you may be eligible for scholarships from the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development. In most of the universities, 70 per cent weightage is given to the GATE score and 30 per cent to academic merit.
M.B.A
As far as courses in MBA are concerned, you need to complete your graduation in Engineering with at least 50 per cent marks.Your performance at various entrance tests and the degree will help in getting selected for admission into MBA. You can select the specialization based on your interests, aspirations and aptitude.
Pursuing MBA after Engineering definitely improves one's career prospects. However, to become a manager, one needs to gain work experience and understand the way businesses function. If you wish to shift from Engineering towards Management, Marketing, or Finance domains, you need to understand the differences between the different fields and must have a passion for the selected field.
M.S. :-
One has to appear for Graduate Record Examination (GRE), or Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL)/International English Language Testing System (IELTS) for doing M.S in foreign countries.

1)CPT
2)IPCC
3)FINAL
You haven't mentioned anything about your qualification.If you have appeared/waiting for your class 12 exam result then you have to attempt CPT exam which is the preliminary stage.You can be a science or commerce stream student.Exams are held twice in a year-June and December.Go and register yourself with ICAI.But you cannot attempt the one in June as the last date of registration has expired.So register now and attempt the one in december.The exam is purely an objective one.But it is being heard that they are going to be descriptive.
Now if you are a graduate(science/commerce) then you can opt direct entry.i.e,without CPT you can make it to 2nd stage.
You have to study the following papers in CPT
FUNDAMENTALS OF ACCOUNTING
MERCANTILE LAW
GENERAL ECONOMICS
QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE

CCNA is a popular certification in computer networking developed by Cisco Systems. Cisco created the CCNA to recognize basic competency in installation and support of medium-sized networks.
