Yes, IEC University has entrance exams on certain programs but others are merit based. In case of B.Tech marks awarded in JEE Main or HPCET are taken. Admissions in MBA and PGDM prefer either MAT, CAT, XAT or CMAT. M.Tech requires a GATE score to be commonly met and B.Arch requires an eligible NATA rank. PhD admissions is usually done based on a university level entrance examination although it can be waived off in case of candidates with NET/JRF/GATE. Most undergraduate programs are however done through 10+2 academic merit.

Both options have advantages. Hospitals provide exposure to a wide range of cases, making them ideal for learning and career growth. There's also scope for specialisation in MRI, CT, or interventional radiology.
Diagnostic labs, on the other hand, offer stable working hours and a structured environment. They are suitable for those who prefer routine work and do not want emergency cases. Salary and growth can be better in high-end private diagnostic centers.

The level of difficulty in entrance exams such as MAT, CAT, and JEE Main is different for every candidate. Preparation is the key to clearing these exams. For UG courses, admissions are merit-based, which makes entrance tests unnecessary. Candidates must prepare according to the pattern of the exam to increase their chances.

An SOP is a formal document, used by the Ad Com in evaluating the application. Thus, it is advised to keep the tone formal. Even though it is a statement reflecting you as a person, the choice of words and sentences should be formal. It is better to use active voice with simple sentences. The clarity in ideas, chronology of thoughts, and error free writing, are signs of an impressive SOP.

As the statement of purpose is mainly about the programme you are applying for, your motivation for it and the career goals related to it, you do not need to mention about your personal background in the SOP. Only those details of personal life will be included which are related to the course. If you have visited any place during family vacation, and that led to your interest in a particular field, then you can mention about that aspect in the SOP.
