It is not necessary but it is advisable to pursue AICTE approved programs from UGC recognized university.
Yes,it can make a difference at the B.Tech job level and especially at higher studies level.For instance,if you wish to sit for civil services exams it is better to have an AICTE approved program and UGC recognized university degree.
