There is no such process of direct admission .you have to give CAT,MAT ,AMCAT ,XAT or any entrance exam and then you have to go through the process.Its not too late you can still give exam

Hi Kshitij, you have to apply to the universities separately. CommonApp is the admission portal used to apply to US universities. Your SAT scores will be sent to four universities free of cost as per your choice,you can choose more universities at an additional cost. However you still have to apply using commonapp, wherein you must state your high school grades, attach your school reports, personal statement, LORs and so on. Here is the website, please take a look and get yourself familiarize with it.

I already told you that everything will be available in the college. Student must come up with his/her personal belongings like clothes, toiletries and laptop( if they want). Otherwise you'll get everything in the college like books, stationary, lodgings,etc.

Its not "sandwiching", you just need to plan properly. You may continue to prepare for your IIT coaching and SAT too. SAT training is normally for 32-40 sessions which you can easily cover in summer vacation and then its more of a practice. Once you are ready take the SAT and TOEFL test. If the need be appear again.
Simultaneously, you may explore the universities to which you can apply. For US, commonapp is the best. Once your semester exams are done, get your transcripts, LORs and essay ready to upload on the commonapp.
